For last night's dinner, I made spanish rice and grilled white fish fillet in olive oil and cherry tomatoes. I drizzled it with some vinegar, and had a happy moment - standing by the stove, fishing out little meaty bits from the sizzling pan.
I prepared a big bag of snacks for today: raspberries&bluerberries, mandarins, an apple, a banana, a yogurt, some nuts&dried fruit, and a cookie. I feel good about having lots of food with me.
Yesterday was spent doing more French, drawing, reading my new cooking book, and cleaning the house. I'm a bit upset with the clash with my parents though, but too tired to think about that now.
We went to the garden over the weekend, the feeling of the sun over my black top; sore back and bent knees. I love seeing the bushy lettuce plants, the fat beets, the rising kale.
